Forestation meets art in Beirut

one eye-catching set of sculptures now sitting in Beirut Souks (through Sept. 24) has been crafted by Lebanese artist and architect Nayla Romanos Iliya. The three steel, tree-shaped sculptures are part of her “Flower Power” series, which uses themes of nature and life juxtaposed with destruction and ruin.
